We were delighted to welcome the majority of the UK team back to our office in Denham after making adaptions and provisions to enable it to be Covid-19 secure. We decided to get an external audit completed too and received this Covid-19 Compliant Certificate to display on our notice board International Hospitals Group (IHG) Covid-19 Compliant Certificate .
In line with ongoing UK Government guidance, we have temporarily closed our UK offices and our team are working remotely.
This means that we are open for business, but not from our usual office.

We are pleased that we will be reopening the Shanghai office as of Monday 2nd March 2020 and will continue to follow FCO advice on international travel to and from China.
Please be advised that IHG have decided to keep the China office closed until Monday 2nd March 2020 and the team will continue to work from home.
Our China office will be closed until at least 17th February 2020 when a further review will take place.
We continue to follow local advice and our colleagues in China remain working from home.
In support of the global effort to control the Coronavirus, IHG will be strictly following advice from Chinese, UK and relevant international authorities.
The specific impact of this advice on our China operations is as follows:
- Our Shanghai office will remain closed until at least 10th February 2020.
- All physical meetings in China (both internal and external) have been canceled until at least the end of February. Our focus will be on communication via voice and video calls.
- Travel, by any international based IHG staff, to China has been suspended. There are currently no international staff in Shanghai but they remain available to manage and support remotely. This will be reviewed at the end February at the earliest.
It is not clear at this time what the impact will be on our capability or response times but we will do our best to continue to provide a high quality service while prioritising the health and well-being of our, suppliers, our staff, our clients and their families.
