Project Management

Each construction project is by its very nature a unique undertaking and challenge. Translating the ideas of clients into a state of the art healthcare design and from there through procurement into reality requires the skill and initiative of an experienced design and project manager.

IHG’s Project Managers are available to carry out the pre-construction management of a project, managing our design teams to create the state of the art design using latest healthcare modelling and the construction phase project management, managing the appointed main contractor(s) and acting as Client Project Manager / Employer’s Representative to guide the construction process through to practical completion and operational handover.

Our Project Managers ensure that the integrated design reflects leading international practice and in doing so, creating a sustainable LEED / BREAM excellent rated building if possible that suits all users needs.

The IHG project management expertise is spread across the whole project team. IHG’s project management capability and maturity exists at an individual and an organisational level, having successful delivered countless projects on time and to the desired quality and budget. IHG brings both UK and international experience to the construction phase of the project, providing knowledge and capability in respect of local building techniques and a sensitivity to local culture that enables the efficient management of local contractors.

Importantly, our construction project managers work side by side with our medical and equipping specialist project managers and the IHG training teams towards the completion / handover of new hospitals to ensure an operational-ready facility capable of accepting patients and capable of delivering healthcare services from Practical Completion.
